Agreements

Q. Do you require a contract?
A. It depends on the type of service and pricing needed by the customer. In order to maintain competitive pricing and effective pest control, we asked the customer to commit to a specific time period for service.  We don’t use high pressure sales pitches or scare customers into a long-term contract. We tailor our service around your pest control needs – with or without an agreement.

Note: Termite and other specialty services do require a written agreement to explain expectations and guarantees mandated by State, insurances providers, and manufactures

Q. I don’t see any pests, can I skip a service?
A. For us to maintain control, we must perform all scheduled services.  Missing a service requires us to utilize additional materials on your next visit.  In addition, our technicians will have to spend more time on your property.  This leads to extra cost for all parties. Remember: An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Specific Pest Problems

Q. How do you treat for Cockroaches?
A. To do an effective cockroach treatment, ArmaXX must take care of both the primary and secondary cockroach infestations. In order to get faster results, the technician will use flushing agents to drive the insect out of hiding.  This step sometimes requires items from kitchen cabinets to be removed.  Next, a liquid treatment will be broadcasted throughout the infested area.  In 15-30 days, a technician will retreat the area, targeting nymphs and unhatched eggs not killed by the first treatment.  And additionally, we provide information to customers about ways they can minimize pest migration and breeding environment for cockroach populations. In other words, cockroach control is best achieved through a combination of techniques and materials.

Q. How do you treat for Brown Recluse Spiders?
A. Brown recluse spiders are challenging to control, largely because of their secretive/reclusive nature. Virtually any dark, dry and undisturbed area can serve as harborage, namely – boxes, closets, furniture, garages, heating ducts, attics and woodpiles.  The first treatment step is to remove clutter and seal boxes. (Tape box edges or seal with plastic bags). A technician will then apply flushing agents to drive the spiders out of hiding.  A combination of liquid/dusting treatments are applied to the outside and inside perimeter of the structure, including the attic. Glueboards are placed throughout the area to help monitor the infestation. Once the initial service is completed, ArmaXX will need to spot treat the remaining critical areas of the structure for 3-6 months.
